Virtual Reality: Reading Assignment #5
Illusions of space in art has evolved from 2d paintings, 3d pictures, live stages, to 4d movie theaters. Virtual reality has become a part of our everyday living to where seeing projected pictures right before our eyes is the norm. This article was interesting to me because I constantly wonder how far movies will go to create the perfect "real" experience. I enjoy interacting with virtual reality, but only for so long because it's something I can see but not touch. My question is - will virtual reality take over the real experience of actually visiting a place or interaction with a person or object?
